Sajaan Matharu is a designer, developer, and founder of FreshDesign.io. He was born in England, but now lives in Cupertino, CA. He says he’s been interested in design and development as a kid, but it wasn’t until he started his first business that he picked up web design.

Having had enough of relying on others to build his ideas (combined with ungodly rates some developers charge) he started putting serious work into learning HTML, CSS, and JS. He’s been building his own stuff ever since.

When I asked where the pieces for FreshDesign.io come from, he replied that the majority come from everyday web browsing, and some from the people submitting their work. So don’t be shy and go submit your own for some extra exposure!
